Google?s Nexus X phone made by Sony leaks out

Sony has yet to be invited by Google to create a smartphone that would join the Nexus family, at least up until now. The Wall Street Journal?reported in May that Google would start allowing multiple manufacturers to create Nexus devices and expand the line and here we have pictured what appears to be Sony?s entry.

The Sony Nexus X was first discovered on Picasa and has since spread across the Internet, though many are questioning whether the photo is a hoax or not. The Nexus X ? the X presumably referring to Sony?s Xperia line ? does have a similar square design language to that of other Xperia devices, however as Xperia Blog?notes, there?s no Xperia branding anywhere on the handset.

A second photo of the device, this time shot from the front, is below. What do you think: real or fake?
