July 18, 2013 Updated Jul 18, 2013 at 11:48 PM EDT

Buffalo-There is a treasure chest of rich religious relics under one roof in the heart of the Queen City.

And all of these precious pieces can be seen inside a piece of history itself.

The Buffalo Religious Arts Center, was once Saint Francis Xavier Church, the building is 100 years old.

The church was one of 70 churches that were going to close back in 2007, but the center decided to save this one and put it to good use.

Now dozens of relics from murals to statues from all religious denominations in the area are being collected and shown off inside.

Tours are available and you can even book the venue for an upcoming event including a wedding.

For more information call Mary Holland, president of the center at 716-481-2350 or visit www.buffaloreligiousarts.org
